
Born in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture in 1988, he studied under Mizuno Naomi (World Chocolate Masters 2007 winner) at a confectionery school, then studied under French chef Stephane Vieux, and after working at a chocolatery in Tokyo and The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo, he opened Presquil Chocolaterie, a bean-to-bar chocolate shop, in Kichijoji, Tokyo in 2016.
