Chef Fukuda is from Fukuoka and is 41 this year. He went into the culinary industry after graduating from high school and became a pâtissier at the age of 23. He worked in a few places in Japan before travelling to Paris. He worked in a few patisseries in Paris for a couple of years before coming back to Japan and opened his own shop named Bec Sucré in May 2015.
